Diane has been at Oakwood her entire career working in a variety of positions. She has held roles in the Emergency Department, Nursing Education, Supervision and Management. Diane’s most recent role is overseeing Corporate Nurse Recruitment and Retention, including a system wide model of care called Relationship Oriented Care.

Diane received her BSN from Mercy College and a Masters in Health Service Administration from the University of Detroit. She is the Co-Chair of Corporate Professional Excellence Council and a member of the Nursing Executive Council and Corporate Nursing Operations Council. Diane is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau.

Diane has discussed recruitment and retention as a featured panelist on Comcast, in Nursing Spectrum, Craine’s Detroit Monthly and at the 2007 Michigan Nursing Summit. She has also received certification in Relationship and Results Oriented Healthcare as a Specialist and Facilitator and was a Nightingale nominee in 2004.
